Postpartum depression (or PPD) is a common form of clinical depression often associated with changes in sleep or eating patterns, isolation away from friends and family, as well as difficulties with concentration and memory. According to the American Psychological Association, up to 1 in 7 women experience some form of PPD. So if PPD is so prevalent, why don’t we know more about it?
